Child Safety Standards

Last updated: October 12, 2026

Our commitment

Aposteli has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Protecting minors is a non-negotiable part of operating our platform. This page sets out the standards we uphold, the measures we take to prevent abuse, and how we respond when we become aware of it.

Prohibited conduct

The following are strictly forbidden on Aposteli and will result in immediate removal and, where appropriate, reporting to the authorities:

Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form; sexualization of minors, including through text, imagery, or AI-generated or edited content; grooming, enticement, or any attempt to establish inappropriate contact with a minor; sextortion or coercion of a minor; trafficking or any facilitation of the sexual exploitation of a minor; and promoting, soliciting, or linking to any of the above.

Age requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use Aposteli, and older where local law requires a higher minimum age. The platform is not directed to children under this age, and we do not knowingly allow them to create accounts. Accounts found to belong to underage users are removed.

How we prevent abuse

We combine proactive and reactive measures to keep minors safe. These include content moderation across posts, comments, media, and messages; account controls that let us restrict, suspend, or permanently remove offending accounts; and systems that make it easy for anyone to report content or behavior that puts a child at risk. We continue to invest in and improve these safeguards over time.

In-app reporting

Aposteli lets users report child safety concerns directly in the app. Every post, comment, and profile can be reported, and reports that involve the safety of a minor are prioritized for urgent review. You do not need an account to alert us — anyone can reach us at the contact address below.

Our response and reporting to authorities

When we identify or are made aware of CSAE or CSAM, we act quickly to remove the content and the responsible accounts. Aposteli complies with all applicable child safety laws and reports apparent child sexual abuse material to the relevant regional and national authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and equivalent bodies where required. We preserve related information as the law requires to support investigations.

Designated point of contact

We maintain a designated point of contact for child safety matters who is available to discuss our CSAM prevention and compliance practices. You can reach our child safety contact at [email protected].

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local law enforcement or emergency services right away.

Changes to these standards

We may update these standards as our practices and legal obligations evolve. When we make material changes, we will update the date above.
